Laboratory Introduction
The General Chemistry Laboratory provides practical instruction for undergraduate students in engineering and technical fields related to chemistry. This one-credit course is a core requirement and includes weekly 2-hour sessions.
Equipment and Instruments
In addition to various glassware and laboratory tools, the laboratory houses the following instruments:
- Distillation Unit: For producing distilled water.
- Conductometer: For measuring conductivity.
- Conventional Oven: For heating and drying samples.
- Analytical Balance (up to 3 decimal places): For precise mass measurements.
