Laboratory Introduction

The Inorganic Chemistry Laboratory is one of the research laboratories located in the Faculty of Chemistry at Amirkabir University of Technology. Established in 2016, this laboratory focuses on various innovative research areas.

• Synthesis of Nanomaterials:
  Synthesis of metal oxides/sulfides, metals, and carbon-based compounds, along with investigation of their properties.

• Composites:
  Synthesis and characterization of composites made from various inorganic and polymeric materials.

• Catalysis:
  Synthesis and application of catalysts in various chemical processes and transformations.

• Solar Cells:
  Fabrication and evaluation of the efficiency and stability of nanostructure-based solar cells.

• Adsorbents for Water Treatment:
  Synthesis and application of adsorbents in water purification processes through adsorption methods.

• Photocatalysts for Water Treatment:
  Synthesis and utilization of photocatalysts in advanced oxidation processes for water purification.
